She’s not a someone

I’m ever so glad to have my cat in my life. Aside from being so cute, soft and cuddly, there is something she does that is so profound and it truly enhances my faith. She is so innocent and fragile which initially made me sad. However when I started to care for her I felt in awe of her Creator. I felt at once chosen and humbled to have a small living life that could not speak or ask for things the way humans do, yet my role was so clear; be tender, protect, nurture and remember to Whom she belongs. Each time I hold her it is as if God is giving me a direct opportunity to earn my way to His pleasure.
